Simon is an alumnus of the SEX LAB, having postdocced here in 2008-9.
His research concerns the interface between function and behaviour. He is particularly interested in how physiological capacities affect the evolution of reproductive strategies and associated traits. To this end, he applies integrative methods to a wide variety or organisms including lizards, insects, crabs and fish to address behavioural and evolutionary hypotheses regarding reproductive success.
